Why does The Omnipotent and Omniscient GOD give us freedom
So during discussion of the book "Think Like Jesus" tonight in Bible study I was bought back to a passage of the book"The Jesus I Never knew" by Philip Yancey section Showdown in the desert which the author says "Do we humans enjoy too much freedom? We have the freedom to harm and kill each other, to fight global wars, to despoil our planet. We are even free to defy God." So in an attempt to "Think Like Jesus" why didn't The Omnipotent and Omniscient GOD just use some irrefutable proof to silence all skeptics, tilting the odds in His favor?

Yeah, that was Jesus, what about me?
We have identified four critical elements which enabled Jesus to think like Jesus: His foundation was clear, He focused on God's will, He filtered every everything prior to a decision, and He acted in faith. We know He was fully man, but we cannot deny the fact that He was also fully God. Did Jesus have an unfair advantage? If He displayed these characteristics with some evidence of struggle, i.e. The Temptation in the wilderness (Matt 4:1-11) and The Garden of Gethsemane (Matt 26:39-44), is it realistic to believe that we can actually think like Jesus?

Do I really think like Jesus?
In the book Think Like Jesus, George Barna indicates that after years of listening to sermons, attending classes, and participating in Bible study groups, he was not prepared to filter out trash and embrace only biblical wisdom. I'm curious to know how many individuals find themselves in a similar position today.
